Barn Dance Reminder!

Hi everyone! Apologies for not sending out a newsletter this Sunday, I'm trying to finish my grad school applications and that slipped my mind. I'll send one out this Sunday that has some recap of this week. TLDR: Normal practice week (Tues, Thurs, Fri) Introducing butterfly and working on all strokes. 

The reason for this email however is because we have our Barn Dance event this Saturday 10/26!

  • from 5:00-8:00 pm at Sleepybear Campground in Noblesville. 
  • There will be dinner, games, Parade of Costumes, the must see Dance Skits, and Trunk or Treat. 
  • Make sure to bring camp chairs. Water is provided. 
  • A flash light and bug spray might be a good to bring.

A little more detail about the parade of costumes:

  • the Parade of Costumes is slated for around 5:45 pm. 
  • Jill Willency is emceeing/DJing for us and she will make an announcement around 5:30 to let everyone know the Parade of Costumes will be starting so everyone has time to get in their costumes. 
  • We will have each group parade individually starting with FR1, their lead coach (me!) will lead the group once around the stage-area to show off our costumes. 
  • There will be a Best in Show selected from each group!  Those will be announced after the Dance Skits around 6:45.
