SSC Code of Conduct & USA Swimming's Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy

Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (effective January 1, 2025, or with completion of your 2025-2026 registration, whichever comes first) - Required policy for all members of SSC. This includes parents, 18 & over swimmers, minor swimmers, staff, and meet leadership teams. Please note this will be a required part of your registration process.

As of June 23rd, 2019, all 18 & over athletes are required to take a three-part Athlete Protection Training course via the USA Swimming website. To be more proactive, SSC is requiring all athletes to complete this requirement 30 days before their 18th birthday.

Additionally, SSC has developed a supplemental Athlete Code of Conduct which we believe raises the bar even further for how we expect a Southeastern Swim Club member to behave at all times.
