JR2 News! 

Good morning everyone! 

    

I hope this email finds you all well! The last few days at home with my family have been great, and much needed, but I am definitely ready to get back to the pool and see the kids. Yesterday my brother wrapped up his water polo career and not only broke the all-time scoring record at his high school, but also won MVP of the season! I am a very proud big sister! 

 

I have heard great things from both Coach Campbell and Coach Rachel about the last few days of training while I have been out. The kids have been working hard and swimming fast! I am so excited to see what they do at the Mason Meet this upcoming weekend. If your athlete has an old tech suit and they would like to wear it this weekend, I think that would be a great idea! Obviously if an athlete does not want to they don’t have to, but we have been working hard and I think it would be a lot of fun to put on a tech suit and get up and race this weekend and see what we can do.  

 

Looking ahead at the calendar this week, it will be a normal schedule with the exception of having NO PRACTICE on Friday or Saturday due to the Mason Meet. If your child is not swimming in the meet this weekend and would like to train on Friday and Saturday, please reach out to me individually and we will try and work something out. 

 

Finally, if your athlete is going to be swimming in the Jingle Jamboree please get them signed up ASAP! The registration deadline for the meet has changed to November 16th. They would like for us to have entries in for that meet by November 18th. If you have any questions please let me know!

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ATHLETE BRINGS A WATER BOTTLE TO PRACTICE AND WEARS SNEAKERS WHEN WE HAVE DRYLAND!!
