Update from Coach Rich

Hi Parents,

I have heard through the grapevine that many of you are asking what the coaching staff will look like after this winter season is over. To ensure you are accurately informed, I am sharing what is being discussed.

My current contract is intended to be in effect from Sept 1 2024 to June 1 2025; the idea being that June 1 would be Jeff’s starting date once he arrives in Fishers.  His start date is not set in stone because he must sell his house and purchase a new house here.  His son is also graduating in Germantown, PA that month. 

Jeff and I have been in constant contact since we both came on board.  I have been incorporating his training program and meet strategies this entire season along with mine.  With all this information, I have agreed to continue past June 1 and help Jeff get acclimated to the team and swimmers and remain a part of the program. 

Beyond this summer, Jeff and I are talking about what capacity I could serve going forward.  We both want the club and high school to continue the right path and see performance continue to improve, while the club grows.  When that decision is made, we will let you all know.

It has been a great honor to be able to coach this swim team.  You have great athletes and even greater kids here at SSC and HSE.  Now let’s focus on ending the winter season with more great swims.
