Royals 1-2-3 – Week 29
Great meet this weekend. Lots of best times and great racing. We ended up 12th overall in Senior State. Now we look at the Age Group meet this weekend and then the Speedo Sectional meet the following weekend.
CALENDAR March 9-15
Mon: PM 3:15-5pm all those swimming in Age Group State. Want all those swimming in Speedo Sectionals to stop in the pool and discuss entries with me one more time before they go home. Some of you may want to swim a little bit.
Tue: AM 6:30-7:45am Swim for Age Group and Speedo Sectional swimmers. No practice in PM since we have Banquet at 6pm
\Wed: Am 6:15-7:45 Speedo Sectional swimmers. PM 3:15-5pm Age Group swimmers.
Thu: Am 7-7:45 for Speedo Sectional swimmer’s dryland. PM 3:15-5pm Speedo Sectional swimmers. Age Group swimmers will need to come to the Junior Royals practice to get with the rest of the Age Group Swimmers.
Fri: AM 6:15-7:45 For Speedo Sectional swimmer’s swim.
Sat: AM 7-9 for Speedo Sectional swimmers.

Age Group State Mar 21-23, 2025, IU Natatorium, Work on entries this week.
Sectionals Mar 27-30, 2025, IU Natatorium, Work on entries this week.
ADDITIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Practice this week: Please look at the schedule above to see when your swimmer needs to be there. Those who are not competing anymore this winter season are welcome to come to any evening workout this week. We will continue workouts up to Spring Break and then take that week off for sure.
Summer Season: It is our hope that all of you will continue to train over the summer. If we plan on improving our performance going forward, we must swim full time during the summers. Coach Jeff will be joining us sometime in June full-time and he is more than excited about getting here. He has watched from far how well the swimmers are doing and loves it. Coach Rich will be on staff the whole summer season.
Age Group State: This weekend at IU Natatorium. Please look over your entries today and let us know if we missed something or if you are not entered and want to swim. We must resubmit our changes by midnight. Meet info will be sent out this week.
Synergy Dryland: Katie and Todd will be coming in on April 28 to re-evaluate the swimmers and talk about what is coming ahead. There should be a question-and-answer period for parents.
High School Banquet: Is tomorrow night, March 18th.
PAC Meetings: I am not taking any more requests for PAC meetings currently. We can schedule more as we get ready for the summer season.
Absence: Make sure the swimmers are using the absence sheets. They need to turn this in before they are absent. Thanks for your help.
