Congratulations to Adley and Eleanor on being names the FR3 Champions in the Pool for April/May!

Adley has been showing up to practice every day taking ownership of her swimming by always asking for feedback, being coachable and wanting to know her times and how far away from cuts she is. I can't wait to continue to watch Adley grow throughout this season.

Eleanor is a Champion in the Pool because she has shown more grit, starting in September all the way to now, she has never given up on learning how to do a start. It hasn't been an easy journey for her, but when I ask her to get up on the blocks and try again, she does it! I am so proud of her resilience and her willingness to keep trying.

This week we will focus on IM development. We will continue to work on technique and starts, turns and finishes each day. The summer season is short and the kids only have a few chances to get out and race so we will put an emphasis on racing from start to finish as well.

Please see below about an important message regarding a group outing!

Your swimmer will need the following equipment each day at practice: fins, kickboard, pull buoy and snorkel. Our dryland days are Monday and Wednesday, please make sure that your swimmer is wearing pants/shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes. Last, but not least, they need to have a water bottle at every practice.

Kristi sent out a message on our GroupMe about our group going together to USA Swimming Nationals on June 6th! It is OneAmerica Financial Community Night and all kids 12&U are free with the promo code SWIMFREE. It is general admission so we could sit together as a group and watch some of the fastest swimming in the world. My family will be going and I hope to see yours there too!
