JR2 News! 

Hi everyone!

    Happy Sunday! WOW….what a weekend the kids are having!!! I am so proud of each and every one of them. Our focus this summer has been taking ownership of your own swimming and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. The swimmers are definitely seeing the benefits of the mindset shift we have been working on this summer and I could not be more proud of them and the success they are seeing in the water. 

    That being said, we have 2 more meets left this summer before we enter championship season. IT IS TIME TO GET TO WORK!!!! I know summer schedules get busy and there are so many things we want to crunch into such a short period of time; I appreciate you all greatly for making getting your kids to practice a priority. It really does take a village and I think we have one of the best ones. 

    The practice schedule this week matches what it will look like for the rest of the summer with the exception of Friday and Saturday. I will be moving on Saturday, so we will be practicing on Friday this week instead of Saturday. Please note that the last day to register for “Sprint Night Under the Lights” at Forest Park is tomorrow. This would be a great way for swimmers to take one last shot at a Divisional or State cut before the end of the season. Please let me know if you have any questions!

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ATHLETE BRINGS A WATER BOTTLE TO PRACTICE AND WEARS SNEAKERS WHEN WE HAVE DRYLAND!!
