Hello July and Championship Season! I hope you had a great 4th and enjoyed some family and friends time.
This week we will focus on preparing for our championships! We will be working on racing, starts, turns and finishes while we keep our endurance up as we head into Age Group State and Divisionals. Please make sure your child is registered for the meet(s) they will be swimming in this month.
We will host a Championship Splash on Friday and Noblesville is hosting Sprint Night Under the Lights at Forest Park on Sunday. These are great opportunities to race. If your child is close to a cut, I will put them in those events first. If there is an event that they would really like to swim, but not close to a cut, please let me know ASAP so I can put them in that event.
We will do a Secret Psycher the last week of practice before Divisionals! Secret Psycher is a fun and creative way for the kids to show their support for a teammate. Please be on the lookout for that information soon!
Your swimmer will need the following equipment each day at practice: fins, kickboard, pull buoy and snorkel. Our dryland days are Monday and Wednesday, please make sure that your swimmer is wearing pants/shorts, t-shirt and tennis shoes. Last, but not least, they need to have a water bottle at every practice.
