FR1 Registration/Move-Up Info Incoming Season Reminders

Hello!

I wanted to send this out to make sure that there is no confusion as we approach the upcoming fall season. Firstly, I will no longer be the FR1 lead coach, Coach Aaron has graciously stepped into that role! I have absolutely loved coaching FR1, and I'd like to thank you all for the opportunity to work with your amazing kids. I will be leaving Indy in December, and, thought it best to step down so that the lead coach for FR1 does not leave in the middle of the season.

Here are a few updates/reminders as we move into the new season in September:

You should have received an email from coach Blake with the updated practice schedules for the upcoming season as well as another email from Erin Fisher about registration for the new season - which will open Monday August 18th at 8am.

Please DO NOT register your swimmer with USA Swimming until SEPTEMBER 1st - you will receive a specific link from Erin to do so when it becomes available.

If you did not receive an email from me today, then you can assume that your child will stay in FR1 for at least this upcoming season. If you did receive an email from me detailing the move-up and have questions, please reach out. Many of us were close! With strong skills in many strokes but needing work in certain areas of technique. I am sure that FR1 will have many more move-ups to come.

Our Long Course Celebration will take place Thursday August 21st from 5:30-6:45ish pm!
